Sense of responsibility

Image result for responsibility

The short journey we call life teaches us a lot of things. It hasn’t always been a bed of roses, since we are involved in different kinds of daily struggles. We need shields to able to face fear and vicissitudes, to protect ourselves while we are standing on the battlefield.  Like many people, I have immersed myself into deep thinking, hoping to find the suitable weapon to wield, something neither sophisticated nor easily breakable.

I have finally concluded that the perfect weapon, the sure-fire cure in another term, is to be bestowed sense of responsibility.

The word “sense” refers to a strong feeling of desire towards something, whereas the word “responsibility” refers to a moral duty to deal with things in a decisive, sensible and honest manner.

Sense of responsibility is a transition in one’s life, from having a childish and immature way of thinking, to shaping a new mindset leading to see things differently and acting decisively. This is the fruit of an accumulation of years of experience by frequenting many events and adopting different attitudes to deal with daily challenges.

This sense is also about being completely aware of obligation towards society, family, and performing tasks at work. Serving the common good is set as priority, narrowing one’s interest by giving much importance to what matters to the group.

Any Society is prone to change that may affect all aspects of life, and sometimes it’s devastating. Nowadays, the readiness to assume one’s responsibility is bit by bit diminishing, a phenomenon prevalent everywhere reaching professional levels. We are talking about parents, doctors, teachers and other remembers of society who no longer consider fulfilling their duty as a vehicle for prosperity, and effectiveness inside institutions and their country as a whole. This leads to a hideous consequence, which resides in inheriting a surrounding suffering from scarcity of role models, at the same time witnessing the rise of waves of trivial people, whose cultural background represents a grave danger to the future of the upcoming generations, and of course the seeds of our future, the young, are consequently left behind in a vacuum without those champions who, by definition, pass down morals and ethics to build balanced and sturdy personalities.

Sense of responsibility is a school, experience and a value highly needed in everyone’s life, because it stands for an insurance against any disability threatening societies, and once is adopted surely the way to success is already paved.

Some tips for effective learning:

Some tips for effective learning:

Image result for tips

From the outset of our existence we have been dragging into the process of learning. It starts from learning how to walk to how to speak, both of which are necessary for discovering our surrounding in order to be able to tie a relationship with its parts. Thus, it is undeniable that every single move we make is based on the keyword; knowledge.

Knowledge should be the core and pivot of our moves, the point on which the young should base their attempts while making future plans. But the present-day students are finding themselves in a daze, surrounded by avalanches of troubles resulting in having a gloomy vision about what they want, which even affects their academic career.

Here are some tips I think are necessary for students to follow to face up their upcoming challenges:

Do what you love, love what you do:

The grave mistake that some students make is the random choice of their field of study, whether done due to lack of foreknowledge or sometimes as a result of misguidance. In order not to be another victim, the best advice to follow is to make a quite free choice based on inner admiration towards the chosen field, which I believe to be the sure-fire way likely to lead to a bright future.

Be self-taught:

A special quality that every student needs is self-teaching. Apart from the usual programme and materials scheduled by schools and universities, it’s utterly important to adopt a strategy based on leading one’s personal research and make tremendous efforts to broaden knowledge. The best skills we acquire are those we learn on our own. This method not only yields fruits, but it teaches students how to deal with different situations, as well as instils in them the necessary tools they need throughout their professional careers such as sense of responsibility, working with methodology, perseverance and self-motivation.

Self-confidence: you can do it!

To keep focus on one’s aim is a challenge itself; it’s a question of resisting all kinds of lures and temptation to only keep ahead.

Self-confidence as a very added value is what you need. Having the capacity of trusting your abilities, eradicating fear and all things that may mar your concentration, and whenever you meet the dreams killers, try to listen to yourself, your inner part and say “yes I can do, I am determined and no one in the world is able to hold me back to prevent me from doing what I want”.

A comfortable place is the best option:

During their academic career, students should grasp that their emotional state has a significant effect on their productivity. Among the things they should be careful about is the place they choose for their studies.

For instance, while studying, try to choose a calm place, and if possible with attractive decoration inciting productivity. Whenever boredom starts surging and striking hard, then you have to realise it’s time for a change, look for another spot where you can recharge your battery and think clearly.

The concept of family:

Image result for family

Every country dreams of reaching a high level of development, and this is a daunting dream that deserves to be fought for. But the prosperity and stability of any nation has never occurred in a vacuum, it does, indeed, require the existence of many factors, and the jewel in crown of them resides in having a strong society, which represents the real capital and raw material to be counted on for reaching this purpose, as well as giving much focus and energy to its individuals and especially, taking the centre of stage to its small unit that we call “family”.

Family is the staple of civilisation and the focal point of any society, and its success is the success of the nation it is included in. Its basic role is flat noticeable, because it’s our first school that instils in us the very basic values we all need in our life-time and it’s our mainstay in hard times and technically, it takes a decisive role in shaping the future of our nation. Thus, no prosperity is guaranteed if the family structure is glossed over or out of condition.

Since the advent of the current political system ruling the world at this juncture, marked by the American hegemony over the world, along with the spread of new technologies, we have been witnessing an avalanche of change touching all aspects of our life, and which apparently narrowed the distance between the residents of earth, putting an end to all kinds of shackles that once represented shields against cultural exchange. Nowadays, with a simple click on a keyboard, huge quantities of information are, at the drop of a hat, sent to every corner around the globe.

All the same, the beneficial side of high technologies flunked to cover its hideous face, by putting much pressure on individuals, and amid this unprecedented shift, the family structure is prone to a devastating change threatening its strength and togetherness.

In this present-day era, people from different ages keep a smart phone, computer and television in their rooms and pockets. These gadgets, though, separated the members of family, by broadening the distance and spurring withdrawal. We find individuals directing their entire concentration towards devices, leaving no free room for communication between the members. Thus, if things keep going this way, we will end up by egotism and selfishness overwhelming the mainstream. The distinguishable effects could be understood if we take a few moments to wonder about the reason that stands behind the disappearance of family extension. In our times, when the process of education within the family is given out, others take it over, as follows, the neighbour, schools, uncles or aunts etc.

The pace of life is incredibly increasing, so the desire for consumption, which evidently puts an on-going pressure on the working families. Today’s women are strongly fighting to join in the fight to stand by their husband’s side to provide for their children, since men, who customary or considering the cultural background dominating the mainstream, stand for the breadwinners, complaining of inability to keep up with rhythmic motion of life solely, the door is open for women to present their joint effort as breadwinner, besides their steadfastness to not compromising their desire to become more economically independent, therefore, with both parents outdoors, alongside the toughness to assure the balancing act, we feel like being in the middle of a battle to give work and family the time they need, which actually lead parents to be physically and emotionally exhausted.

It’s not all about materialistic tools, what children need is being surrounded by much emotion. Every child needs a champion who, by definition, should stand by his side in order to provide the necessary care, as well as consultation in his ups and downs.

Straight from the heart, I do salute parents for their mammoth endeavour to provide good education and decent level of living for their kids, at the same time, I do admonish them for neglecting the emotional aspect, which in my book, is the basic thing they need more than any other thing, particularly to present too much sacrifice to spend more time with their beloved ones.

We are all proud of our parents, because they have done their utmost and dedicated their time and efforts to protect and provide us, with the necessary tools to lead a peaceful life and reach our dreams and aims, as well as build up a bright future. This should be an incentive to launch a wake-up call to do the necessary to uphold the family structure and save it from collapse, and come up with solutions to make it possible to balance between work and time indoors.
